Corporatisation

In its drive towards high performance and increased value for money MOFI has fostered the creation of new corporatised entities within the public sector. This involved the establishment of independent profit centres to improve funding allocation and competition. This streamlining includes the creation of the Real Estate Bank, the General Pension and Social Security Authority, the Emirates Real Estate Corporation, the Emirates Management Services Corporation, the Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority and the Federal Customs Authority. Corporatisation has helped the government achieve greater efficiencies and a cooperative, fruitful working relationship with its stakeholders.
